Over the past 30 years, Michael has progressed through a wide range of job titles, starting with a very strong desire to be a lawyer that evolved into an open-ended exploration of information technology and cybersecurity. His path involves considerable work in network architecture and Department of Defense cyber strategies that laid the groundwork for a career of leadership roles that define the industry today. Michael’s leadership belief is one of creating a supportive and collaborative environment with teammates empowered to excel, consistent with his military principles of commitment and excellence.
Digital Beachhead itself is evidence of Michael’s dedication to scaling cyber security solutions aimed at meeting the needs of small to midsize business. Expansion into new markets and moving forward with certifications like CMMC are evidence of the company’s dedication to offering rugged and affordable cyber security architectures. While Michael takes Digital Beachhead to new frontiers, including working towards C3PAO certification, his vision remains unwavering: to empower organizations with the tools and methodology to traverse a more complicated landscape of cybersecurity. Having a regional base in Europe, he sought out additional training initiatives that solidified his turn to an information technology career for the long haul. His main work enabled him to leave a lasting legacy in the DoD’s computer network and cyber policies, which evolved into broad cyber career specialties utilized by the DoD today.
More than 12 years of experience in Europe, Michael refined his skills in the world of cyber, climaxing with his experience as a Chief to the security operations of the $50 billion Air Force Satellite Control Network in Colorado. In this role, he further developed as a Chief Information Security Officer with a mandate over global systems.
