He has had responsibility for academic computing, administrative computing, and enterprise services like the ERP system, network and telecommunication, information security, and client services throughout his career. He is successful because he is concerned with building cooperative working relationships with campus constituencies and that he holds the view that his first priority is to support the academic, research, and public service university missions.

His administration business has been guided by a vision of quality and excellence in campus services and responsivity to responsible financial stewardship. He has been guided always by values of openness, accountability, and overall campus participation in decision making and management of financial resources.

As an administrator, Mohamed has successfully worked with business, government, public and private school, and college and university members of the learning community on challenging issues such as curriculum development and alignment, strategic planning, diversity, staff and faculty development, standards for information technology, academic and administrative technology planning and deployment, and building community. Through all initiatives, he has practiced shared decision-making, civility, and collaboration.

More than 20 years of higher education administration experience suggest that he had close associations with leaders, students, administrators, faculty, and staff. He provided consulting services and crafted support for strategic planning initiatives. He also provided an integrated effort towards shared vision and leadership support in administrative and academic computing services.
