Key Fact

  • Only candidates, who have registered and paid fees before the due date, can avail the correction facility.
  • The amendments made and submitted will be permanent and irreversible.

Key Background

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened a window for correction for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee (PO/MT-XV) and Specialist Officer (SO-XV) recruitments for the year 2025. The window for correction is going to be open on 31st July to 1st August 2025 and will provide one final opportunity to the candidates to rectify the mistakes that have been made while applying for it. It will be made available only for the registered and successfully fee-paid applicants until July 28, 2025.

While the correction process takes place, the candidates can make some of the details such as personal details, address for communication, educational qualification, category, and selection of employment. Some of the extremely necessary details such as candidate’s name, email id, and mobile number cannot be changed in any possible manner. There is a non-refundable cost of ₹200 for each altered application, and once that is submitted, no change will be entertained.

The window for form correction is crucial because erroneous or lacking information would result in disqualification at the recruitment stage. Candidates are asked to validate their details and correct any errors within the window period. The corrected details will then be locked once submitted.

The IBPS SO and PO exams are the most competitive banking tests. The preliminary exams will be arranged in August 2025, and the main exams and interviews will take place in subsequent months. Due care and precision application details are required for the candidates to smoothly pass through the selection processes.
