Dr. Lisa established Happy Whole Human, an institute that prepares coaches to assist people by building on their personal strengths. She feels that when a person’s abilities are found and used to their fullest, they can do well in life and at work. Coaching with her means looking after both people’s skills and their mental and social well-being.

She used to work as a teacher at a middle school in Texas before deciding to become a coach. Through this experience, she found out that patience, resilience and having someone there who supports them, nurture individual growth. Being in the NYC corporate sector, she gained inside knowledge on how organizations operate. She continued her studies and got a doctorate in psychology which gave her a better insight into human behavior. Instead of pursuing a professorship, she started her own practice in Austin, Texas, assisting people, couples and leaders in dealing with different challenges.

In the year 2013, Dr. Lisa created the Happy Whole Human Institute to give back and aid coaches in developing new techniques. Through her approach, coaches and clients discover and leverage their talents and skills. She bases her work on what athletes do on the field, provides regular personal training and shares feedback to ensure coaching is meaningful.

Dr. Deborah Jacobvitz played a big role in her life by encouraging her and illustrating the importance of helping others. Based on these beliefs, Dr. Lisa sets out to support and help people become their best selves.

Dr. Lisa believes that coaching involves cooperation between coach and client. She emphasizes the importance of honesty, respect and being open to learning new things. She helps individuals figure out their strengths and areas they can work on, with no judgment.

At first, some people doubted her holistic coaching style because it includes personal and family life along with work. Dr. Lisa overcame this by making her methods simple and showing clear results. She uses a special wellness assessment tool to help clients track progress and celebrate successes, keeping them motivated.

She also makes sure her coaching respects different cultures and backgrounds. She teaches coaches how to recognize and reduce bias, creating a welcoming environment for everyone.

Dr. Lisa believes in always learning and regularly updates her skills by attending workshops and talking with other experts. She values feedback from clients to keep improving.

Looking ahead, Dr. Lisa wants to help more people by making her coaching programs easier to access worldwide. She plans to train more coaches who can help leaders focus on mental, emotional, and physical health. Her goal is to build a strong community of coaches who inspire real, caring leadership.

Dr. Lisa Leit truly deserves the recognition she got from The Education View magazine. Through her work, she is guiding leaders to be kind and confident, helping others live balanced and healthy lives.
